Sample Vineyard Records

Sample Wine Reviews

Thankyou for visiting the verymuchgrape wine site.

Our key aim is to record all Australian and New Zealand vineyards and wines and provide details of each - including your opinions on wines you have tasted.

If you would like to leave a review of your recent tastings simply use the Database Search pages to find the relevant wine and then follow the simple instructions.

We hope you find the site useful - we are adding records all the time and are always happy to hear of any updates.

In coming weeks we will be adding further functionality so please check back with us from time to time!

Our Database....

We have developed a database that we believe contains most of the vineyards and wines of Australia and New Zealand.

Better yet we have developed a series of search tools to give you complete access to all our records - free and easy.

Simply click here to try it out. We can also build custom reports upon request (for a small charge).

Orlando St Hugo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon (1998)

Had this last night after a bottle of Bin 407 - the St Hugo kicked its bum - masses of flavours and textures - surely has great cellaring potential although already tannins are quite fine (Reviewed by Oli)

Seppelt Great Western Great Western Shiraz (1997)

Penguin Wine of the Year and Best Red Wine. Shiraz puts the Great into Great Western and we reckon this wine deserves a place among the hierachy of Australia's best reds. What a superb wine to mark the 150th year of Seppelt and the year of winemaker Ian McKenzie's retirement. (Reviewed by The Penguin Good Australian Wine Guide 2001-2002)

Heathcote Winery Mail Coach Shiraz (1998)

"A concentrated and wonderfully perfumed nose of violets, damson plums and ripe raspberries reflects the ""pinch"" of viognier, which adds style and structure to the voluptuous palate of this shiraz." (Reviewed by Peter Bourne, July 2000 Gourmet Traveller)
